In the fall of 2020, during the madness and tension of the race for President, I was offered a chance to write a spot for the Biden/Harris campaign. They wanted a spot targeting Asian Americans. Despite that fact that the population now represents 7 percent of America, no presidential campaign had ever targeted them in an ad. It was a rare opportunity at a time when the then sitting president was daily referring to Covid-19 as the “China virus.” There was very little money and almost no time. And I were thrilled and honored every moment of it.
