I’ve been very lucky to work with amazing people who taught me that there is not such thing as an inherently interesting product. What there is, instead, is a story waiting to be mined, told. Most everything is pretty fascinating if you dig deep enough, care enough, find the human part. I think it’s all about finding a voice and a personality that’s organic, not additive, not ad-speak. Despite the radical changes in media, in how it’s consumed, in our dwindling attention spans, there is still a chance, with every brief, to connect in small and maybe not so small ways to another human being.
